Medical Oxygen Equipment for NCP

Recently, a public health emergency — novel coronavirus pneumonia(NCP) has received international concern. According to the experts, the most effective way to fight against virus is early detection, early isolation and early treatment. Medical oxygen, which adopt cryogenic separation to separate oxygen in atmosphere for medical treatment is an essential medical material when treating NPC patients.
During the preparation of medical oxygen, the separated oxygen needs to be cooled to temperature that lower than -180 ° C to liquid state, and then it should be vaporized to meet the national medical oxygen requirements. The equipment must also be strictly controlled during manufacture. Strict laws and supervision are implemented to ensure the quality of medical oxygen under its control. The medical oxygen equipment designed and manufactured by XLA has super production and low consumption. For example, the designed output of one of our customer Xisanjiao Gas is 130TPD, while the actual output is 150TPD, increasing the economic benefits for customer greatly.
In face of the virus, our customer participated actively in the construction of medical oxygen system of Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital (two dedicated facilities to help tackle outbreak of virus). At the same time, the liquid air separation equipment produced by our company also provides high-quality medical oxygen for combating NPC nationwide to help ensure stable supply of medical oxygen across the country.

Successful Delivery of Unattended Nitrogen Plant from XLA

The skid unattended high-pure Nitrogen plant that designed and manufactured by XLA for one of Europe customers has been transported to Shanghai Port after smoothly achieving of CE certificate . It is predicted to arrive to the end user one month later.
XLA equip with modern workshops and all these process is realized by special lifting facility operated by experienced staff to guarantee the quick and safe set up of equipment. What’s more, the cold box and container are all covered with waterproof cloth, adopting special fixing to avoid shake and collision during the transportation.
Nitrogen purity of this plant reaches 99.9999%, which is up to standard of high pure Nitrogen. Besides, it adopts skid and unattended structure, greatly saving the time cost and labour cost for the end user. This plant will be another successful case of XLA in Europe unattended Nitrogen plant.

Air Separation Process

Industrial gas is known as the “blood” of industry, and gas consumption is closely related with the speed of economic development. Air separation equipment, one of the core equipment in the industrial field, is widely used to produce high-purity gas and is interdependent with industrial gas.
The main constituents in the air are oxygen, nitrogen and argon, all existing as molecules. The most commonly used method is cryogenic separation. Firstly, compressing and cooling the air to liquidation, and then separate it in a rectification column since the difference of boiling point of each component. For example, when liquid air is boiling, nitrogen (boiling point: -196 deg C), which is easier to volatilize, will be vaporized first, and oxygen will be vaporized later (boiling point:-183 deg C). The whole process includes compression, purification, heat exchange, liquefaction, refrigeration and rectification. (As shown below)

For example, patent number ZL200610097738.X, it’s an air separation method and device that is able to produce 10% more liquid nitrogen, while reducing the power consumption of per unit product and further optimize the cost performance.

The following video is a liquid nitrogen equipment designed by our company for one of Russian customers, able to operate at -54 ℃, and is currently in the installation and commissioning stage.

Indian Liquid Unit Coming to Last Commissioning Stage

Suzhou Xinglu Air Separation plant (XLA for short, since 1992), company that specializes in designing and manufacturing the cryogenic air separation plant, mainly focuses on the development and innovation of technology. It has modern manufacturing and service system, with professional engineers of manufacturing, instrument control, quality monitoring and technology to provide one package service like technical consulting, research and development, designing, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.

This 140TPD liquid air separation unit designed and manufactured by XLA for an Indian customer has finished installation smoothly before. Our commissioning engineers have been arranged to the jobsite as required. With close cooperation between our engineer and workers there, commissioning of compressor has been completed successfully, and now working on that of expander. Till now, this project is near its end and going to run. This plant will be another successful case for XLA in Indian market.

Introduction of Cryogenic Nitrogen Plant

Nitrogen has a wide application as protection or seal gas to promote the product quality in various industries as metallurgy, petrochemical, electronics (including integrate circuit and kinescope), medicine, building material electro-magnetic, colored metal, textile, heat treatment and etc. Nitrogen can also be used as chemical raw materials, liquid nitrogen can be used for cold source needs.
By cryogenic separation, both gas and liquid nitrogen could be produced with different pressure varying from 0.2MPa to 0.9Mpa. Meanwhile, producing nitrogen with two pressure stages simultaneously is available as well. The purity reaches as high as 0.01PPm O₂

Developing as the science and technology, with ever-increasing quality of products, there would be a wider application of nitrogen, and a higher requirement of its purity. Nitrogen is reputed as the “industrial salt”, it is playing a more and more important role in modern industrial civilization

The commissioning of equipment exported to Europe was successfully completed

Good news: The mounted unattended equipment designed and produced for European customers by Suzhou Xinglu Air Separation Plant Science and Technology Development company. After successfully passing the welding engineering inspection of the customer in October,  we have completed the debugging and acceptance of the customer in the factory.
This set of equipment in line with the European Union production standards, the full set of CE standard certification. The following figure shows the equipment preparation in the factory before commissioning.
Engineers from the European client company are at the commissioning site to inspect the equipment after 48 hours of stable operation.
